Starlings are another species that has suffered a marked decline in the last few years. This large box with a deep interior and wide entrance hole (45mm) offers an alternative nesting site. Like our other designs it has an opening lid for inspection, held in place by a weatherproof hook-and-eye catch.
12mm exterior plywood with the panels screwed together rather than nailed. Drainage is at each corner and centrally through drilled holes in the base. There is a hinged lid and weatherproof catch. Coated in clear non-toxic preserver for water-proofing and durability.
