This classic shaped box is designed to attract the Blue Tit and the smaller species of the Tit family. The entrance hole is 25mm in diameter. It is constructed like our other boxes from 12mm ply with a hinged inspection lid and weatherproof catch. Note that we supply a similar box with a 32mm entrance hole to attract Great Tits, Nuthatches and Sparrows.
12mm exterior plywood with the panels screwed together rather than nailed. Drainage is at each corner and centrally through drilled holes in the base. There is a hinged lid and weatherproof catch. Coated in clear non-toxic preserver for water-proofing and durability.
